Northwest Simon Links and Contact Details

If you need a place to stay tonight you must apply for emergency accommodation from the Housing Department of your Local Authority (County Council).

If you are eligible for support, the Council’s Housing Department will either refer you to the nearest appropriate emergency accommodation or make other arrangements to provide you with some place to stay while a solution to resolve your situation is being developed.

If you are not sure where you should go or if it’s not easy to get to the nearest Housing Department, make contact by telephone or email as soon as you can.

The best way to contact the council is to go directly to the nearest housing office and apply for support as soon as possible. Where you should go and the level of supports available depends on which county council area your present or most recent home is located. If you do not have a local connection to the North West region, you may not be eligible for any form of support.
